PERSONAL

After twenty years of practice as a Realtor, I still find the greatest satisfaction in meeting the needs of the public. .At the end of each transaction the happiness and well being of those served determines whether or not the escrow was a success. This is a people business, not an industry of properties, and as I meet my fiduciary duties in a friendly and professional manner I never allow myself to lose sight of each individual person whom I am fortunate enough to have as a client.

EMPLOYMENT

1977-1982 Realtor Associate, El Dorado Realty, Inc.

Starting at the bottom is a good way to learn the whole business of real estate brokerage, and for several years I concentrated on generating leads, developing farming techniques, Open House skills, telephone prospecting, and a variety of other demanding but relevant activities.

As my knowledge of real estate marketing grew, so did the effectiveness of the time spent servicing listings and matching up the right buyers to the right properties. In January of 1981 I opened the second company location in Long Beach, and despite the memorable run-up of interest rates that followed the Grand Opening, we love our corner ground floor location where the public can just walk in and find the help they seek.


1978-1979 Independent Consultant

The skills exhibited in my initial exuberance brought about an outside demand for business advice. I discontinued this additional employment, however, when the time constraints began to effect my real estate career.


1982-1997 Broker, El Dorado Realty, Inc.

Shortly after assuming the duties of Vice-President, I obtained my Broker’s License and began a new expansion of the company that resulted in the hiring and training of many fine agents. Through the years the best of these wonderful salespeople have remained loyal to the firm and it is their steadfastness that allows us to create the right type of business environment for both our associates and our clients.
